I've been shopping around for a new scope for my Remington 700 5r. I just received my Athlon Argos BTR 6-24× ffp scope From Go Big Tactical today. I could not be happier! The quality is stunning compared to the lower end scopes I've owned and the price was very reasonable considering the cost of the alternatives with similar features. 6-24x, FFP, illuminated reticle, and really nice turrets all for WELL under $1000 (about $850 with tax and shipping) Now thats a good deal! It even comes with flip covers!
Being new to the game I wanted something that wouldn't cost a whole lot, but that I could use for a while without the desire to upgrade. This was absolutely my best option as far as I can tell. We'll see how it does at the range.
