I have a genII on the way to try out, then re-read your post, figuring it should be okIf it's any help, I've currently got an Argos BTR gen 3 10-40 situated on my 457. I'm quite happy with the performance of the glass vs the price point of the scope. Things are nicely clear and bright up to around 35x.
AFAIK, the only difference between the gen II & gen III is the turrets. The gen III got larger turret knobs& markings. The glass and internals are identical. Enjoy your new scope. I don't think you'll be disappointed.I have a genII on the way to try out, then re-read your post, figuring it should be ok
