Interested in trying one of these scopes out. I'm looking at either the 6-24x50 or the 5-25x56. Haven't decided on mils or moa yet. I'm using the scope for long range shooting at known distances. No prs, just stationary belly shooting. I'm coming off a vortex HST. I'm specifically interested in this model of scope. I've read glass is very good for the price and tracking is spot on. Owners please chime in. Thanks

I picked up the 5-25x56 with the moa reticle. Very nice scope. Put it on an Anschutz 22 so I could stretch out the shooting. Having 110 MOA available should let me shoot past 200. Due to work I have only shot at 50 and 100. Very clear glass, tracks well and worth the price which is very reasonable.
If you are located in the Okanagan then you should give Jerry at Mystic Precision a PM. He lives in the area and sells Athlon. I bought a couple Athlon from him. He may be able to assist you with a hands on.

I've been using a Midas Tac 4-16X44 on my Tikka T1X for general plinking/hunting, and ORPS and having great luck- tracking has been spot-on out to 300+ yards, and I've even managed to smack a few gophers at 250+ with good consistency.

The glass quality is sufficient that on a clear day with good lighting, I can actually watch the little .22 bullets in flight out to 300 until they splatter onto the steel.

The zero stop is infinitely configurable, clicks are positive, and the eye box is super forgiving. For the money, they're really hard to beat! Comparing it with my Gen I Viper PST, I'd say the glass is slightly better, the adjustments are on par (if not better), and the overall build quality is equal, for substantially less cost.

Anyone using these on centerfire? Lots of guys shooting rimfire but I'm curious on long range performance. I feel like their tracking record and glass quality should get me out to distance. I was able to make hits at 1250 with a fixed 16x swfa. I would like to continue to go further and I'm hoping these scopes are up to the task.

Sure am. Just waiting to be able to get out to the range. Unfortunately 200yrds is the further we have though.
