ATI 6 position stock & 870

So I bought an ATI stock at a gun show yesterday.
I went to install it last night and found the 1 1/2" 1/4-28 bolt they supplied to be 1/2" too short......
Main problem I see is that the pistol grip is too close to the trigger, and the grip too skinny.
If I could some how build up the back side of the grip so my finger tip is on the trigger not my second knuckle.....any ideas?

I believe there was a spacer added for the remington. Maybe it was for a winchester. The short screw is for the mossberg. That's the gun I have mine on when I added that stock to my 870 I think I added a part

Look up the instructions on the ati sight and see if you are missing a part for the 870.

It bolts on to a Mossberg and there are 2 plastic spacers that adapt it to rem and win shotguns, along with the bolts for them. They should have been in the package.

as stated you missing 1/2the space and bolt parts
Use this as a reason to dump the junk and buy somthing better

I recently bought one of those kits for my Maverick, so I have the spacers and longer bolt available. Let me know if you need it...you pay shipping. I have the Mesa Tactical LEO stock on my Grizzly...it's way better than the ATI plastic one.
