So I just installed my ATI OMNI poly lower with NEA LKP onto the NEA15 slickside upper receiver and it is an extremely tight fit.

As you can see in the picture there seems to be a gap around the buffer area....is this a bad thing and will it effect performance of the rifle?

Second problem is with this lower...the mags have some play in them...hoping this wont lead to feeding issues. And the third problem im having is the rear holes for the rear take down pin dont line up....I have to use a dremel to open up the upper receiver hole a little bit so the take down pin will go in.

ok seen the new pick, looks like maybe your front lug maybe out of spec on the upper

Oh ok..could be...not sure what to do i guess ill see if SFRC can trade it for another one.

Still can't understand why the top and bottom dont match up at the buffer but i guess it depends on the design

NEA use their own measurements, not sure why as all the figures and specs are out there. Lugs tend to be out of place, and also the front end of the uppers if you try and run rails (other then NEA rails of course).... the front is too short so once you get your nut and rail on, it will not fit on the lower as now the rail interferes.

Dump the nea and call up saskatoon gun works for a aero upper, not sure how much those nea are now but I wouldnt take a free one. Im not suprised your having issues I had that problem among others when I first got into ar's and bought a nea I doubt they'll swap it if you dremeled it.
