You can make a buttpad cosy for it, get some black fabric or something simular and sew up one.

I simply wound some electrical tape around to just about the rear edge of my conventional stock Speedfeed's pad and called it a day, it holds up fine and sticks where I want it to stick, and slides where I want it to slide. It'll do at least until I either have a leather cover custom molded on or go with a snag free slip on recoil pad if I decide to switch to a shorter stock.

Hockey tape should work well.

thanks guys I will see what I can do. I was thinking maybe coating it in krylon but I doubt paint will stick to rubber. well see
