Does anyone have the ATI Strikeforce stock for their 10/22? I know, I know, ATI sucks... blah blah blah...

I currently have the ATI Fiberforce stock on my 10/22 and it's great. The quality is good, it seems quite sturdy (well, as sturdy as you'd need for a .22 "fun gun") and it was a cheap way to give it a bit of a "bad-ass" look. Its only real downfall is that the LOP is only 13.5" which is a tad short for me.

I'd like to "upgrade" the Strikeforce stock, but my concern is that I will have to mount my scope up quite a bit higher. I'm one of these "have to have my scope mounted as close to the bore as possible" kind of guys. Rudimentary calculations have estimated that it'll need to be a minimum of 1.75" above the bore to maintain a proper cheek weld and that's if I take off the adjustable cheek-piece. This is an acceptable height for me, but anything much higher would be a deal breaker. I was just wondering if anyone had a scope mounted on their 10/22 with the Strikeforce stock to confirm my calculations.

My other concern is that my 10/22 has a 16" barrel. With the Strikeforce stock folded, it will make the rifle shorter than 26" which is of course a big "no-no". I have no problem with pinning the stock in the open position but I'd like to know how easy this would be and how you'd go about doing this.

Thanks so much and post pics if you got 'em! :)

I bought a Strikeforce for my Mini 30. I think for the money it's one of the best looking stocks out there.
Rails everywhere, folding/collapsing stock, adjustable chin rest. What more can you want?
To be totally honest I hate the plasticy feel and think it would not stand up under any sort of extreme
usage. If you are the kind of person that treats their stuff well it will do everything you want.

Regarding the magical 26". It would be a shame to pin open any folder. Can you not add a flash hider?
I keep a copy of the regs. and a measuring tape in my gun bag to fend off any know nothing lawmen.

As for your scope needs... I'm not going there. :nest:

Happy shooting

My strikeforce is very sturdy and great to shoot, I could not fit my Dlask 16" as the dia was too big for the stock. It would maybe fit with some modification... as for your scope questions, I can't help you there. I have a cheap red-dot on mine but I have it dialed at 100 yards.

let me know if you need some measurements..
