Atlantic Championships

Whooo, it was interesting. Leo and I were firing on target 8 at 500 when #5 broke in half because of the wind then our target blew away  The 2x6 frame in a military rack just lifted right out of the frame and up out of the pit and tumbled across the field. We shut down then fixed up 8, then it happened again. The target markers were not happy and actually were in serious danger down there so we had to delay the remainder until Monday.

Leo D'Amour was on fire, he earned first place open with distinction, never dropped a point. I find the best part about Leo coming to a match is the entertainment.
R Surett won the tr
E Spicer won the F Res The only point he dropped was his very last shot of the comp. I didn't laugh ... much.
Ron Hilchey won 2 matchs and found out the hard way our military range is marked in meters but is actually in yards. :D Great to see you again Ron.
TrxR, Ron M won a match and had a great attitude as usual.

I picked up a chair and a cooler with 4 drinks in it, only one being drinkable. If they are yours, the storage fee is the 4 drinks, the good one for me and the other 3 for guests :D

Thanks all for coming and we missed those who wanted to but couldn't.

Sounds like fun and a talented list of shooters! I know some guys from work that talk very highly of R.Surette, as his brother worked there before my time....and I believe E Spicer taught in Truro via the Cadets and militia during the mid-to late 80's. (he shot with my brother Jim, and his also J. Kennedy).

I will have to look up the schedule and try and attend a match next year.
