Atlin, B.C, First Nation urging hunters to reconsider their hunting plans this season

There's someone around here that does the same and they are not native. A lot of people will see animals and just shoot at them for fun it is disgusting. A friend of a friend (white guy) saw a farmers cow on a range and shot it to see if his 3030 could kill it. He was beat half to death over it because he was telling everyone and it got back to the owner.

We had a newf in fmm a few years back got charged with shooting 25 moose. God knows how many he had shot over the years. - dan

Unreal. I wonder what goes on in their head? Now that I'm thinking about it I remember a girl at school saying her dad would shoot whatever animal walked down to their yard. He definitely wasn't eating them either.

Believe it or not some bands have stricter hunting regulations than the province regulations. My government won't even give permission to hunt moose right now.

Irrelevant. No constipation officer is ever going to bother charging a native. Would need to appear before a court, get chewed out by the justice, after listening to everyone's pronouns.

in the past CO charged a first nation here in the yukon for using the wrong caliber while hunting bison ...the judge did not follow the crown nor the cos but they tried a charge ...

he was using 300 savage for hunting bison while the mini caliber was said to be 30-06 but he succeeds everytime in the hunts he did ...
 
BC says must follow Regulations about Public Health and Public Safety. So I don't see caliber restrictions applying.

Ok, cool but this was a native guy from a native community that I gave a personal anecdote about. I'm sure there's lots of people doing lots of things they shouldn't. I personally haven't met a white guy yet who's done anything similar. I'm sure they're out there, just haven't dealt with them yet.

there is bad apple in every different races, colors or beliefs ... that is make all of them bad just because of the behavior of some?

Had an uncle that would shoot a moose on his property every year. Split with the local conservation officer, who was his drinking buddy. I don't think he ever had a game license. - dan

What part of this is one specific person that I knew in my life that did this is hard to comprehend?

I bet there's thousands of idiots like that across the country, from all colours of the rainbow. But I haven't met them personally yet.
