Im looking for a "cheap" night vision option for predator control.

Does anyone have experience with the ATN x-sight line for day\night scope use?
Looks like an interesting product.

Im not looking for a 14K night vision combat setup.

Well there are still ongoing software issues, turns off after a shot, loses zero, zero soft after shots and delay video.

The problem is night vision and cheap don’t go together just yet (getting better), for the 1k rage I’d rather buy a Vampire gen1+ for predator hunting.

If you had a budget between 1K and 14k then I’d recommend pulsar, they are out of the UK so everything is available here without issue. There gen 2 comparable digital night vision is 2K and for 5-7k you can get near gen 3 looking digital that rivals most stuff available.

There is stuff on EE for the 1500-2500 range of analog night vision that is really very good and usable.

Night vision rule of thumb is add a Grand for every 100 yards and a Grand for clarity at each of those 100 yards.

Im quite UNknowledgeable when it comes to the whole night vision thing.
I must say, some of the ATN videos and youtube reviews look pretty impressive to me.

The analog stuff on ee, is it like a helmet type setup? Id really like something that just stays on the rifle. (I think?)
A couple grand is doable, if its higher quality\more reliable.
