ATRS "Eliminator" flash hider now with video comparison

Just got back from the range today (nice and bright but cold). We had 3 AR's with us...one had the standard A2 flash hider (16" barrel), next was my rifle with the Spikes STAB (Warthog) on it (11.5" barrel), and the last was the wife's rifle with the ATRS Eliminator on it (12" barrel). I'll cut to the chase...the Eliminator is FANTASTIC at what it does. The A2 was crazy loud and quite a bit of flash...Spikes was still quite loud but throws everything forward...there was still some noticeable flash. The Eliminator was non existent with any flash that I could tell (remember, it was bright out). Also, and I think this may be due to the design, the sound didn't seem so bad. I really want one on my 11.5" now...

What is the outside diameter of the Eliminator? Just curious if it will fit under a few rail choices I've got in mind.

1.50"
They will fit inside some rails but not others.
So far we know that most of the Daniel Def quad rails will not work.
JP, Hogue, PRI, DPMS and Midwest FF fore ends will work fine.

PM me with what you think you want to use and we can probably tell you whether or not it will fit under the fore end.

A couple questions...any pics of the non-tapered version? I have the tapered one on my wifes rifle and am looking to pick up another for mine. Just wanted to see the other before placing the order...

Secondly, probably a silly question, any difference at all between the tapered/non-tapered? (other than the taper). I'd love to see them fired side by side.

Price is the same for either version. Both work the same as the technology of the internals is identical. The tapered version is very slightly lighter about 1/2 ounce.

ok...looks good...I'm leaning towards the non-tapered...do you happen to have a pic of it installed onto an AR? That would be the icing on the cake...

edit: couldn't resist...ended up buying the non-tapered! Can't wait to try it out...

Any chance of an Eliminator in .30cal threaded 5/8x24? Would it even work the same on a platform like the AR10? Or even the RFB?
