Here's the setup from today. A couple of notes:
The first thing I did was send 4, 5-round groups, starting from upper left and going clockwise. 1: Federal Sierra Gold Medal Match - 168r gr; 2(upper right) Hornady 165 gr GNX Superperformance; 3:Nosler Custom Competition 168 gr HPBT; 4 (lower left): repeat to verify, Nosler Custom Competition 168r HPBT.
The centre of the target is back to the Federal Gold Medal match, fired as fast as I could, using the XCR-M 308 10 round pistol magazine.
Groups measured (outer edges) .68, 1.0, 1.58, 1.8, 2.6. You can deduct .308 if you like. I'm pretty happy with all of the ammo but now I know what she really likes.
The final target is rapid firing of 4 magazines containing 5 and 6 rounds of the Austrian Hirtenbirger 308/762, made in 1975, Berdan Primer. No real effort was made other than enjoying zero failures. Barrel was starting to warm up.
Thanks to StormChaser for teaching me the way to squeeze the rear bag for stability. What a major difference you made!
