ATRS Modern Sporter build

I have a SS and FA coming (lower for each). I bought all the parts for both rifles back in November. All just there, in my safe, taunting me.

Been keeping an eye on the MS photo thread. lots of beautiful rifles, but I have better taste then all those so far

(I'm a bit biased)

I used a Yankee Hill push pull pin which can be purchased from Brownells or Select Shooting Supply in Kitchener.

Thanks for the reply, but I’m not looking for a pin that has an elongated head, but one with an extended tip. Might be a fruitless search, but I don’t want something that will snag on stuff.

####ing Brownells. Im starting to hate them... Didn't even know I needed this in my life...lol... But its needed to mount that 1-8 :)

Fuc , $400 US!
Funny how less weight ( material) costs more.

Wait a minute.... how did I not see this picture anywhere yet?? Must have been released while I was away for a good part of the month.

Anyways, thanks for posting it. Also glad I ordered a few of these and waited it out. Any idea how far away they are from shipping?

In another thread Rick said they should start shipping out in May.

Well unfortunately I have until March 2020 to decide but I'm thinking light weight as possible. Definitely a Maple Ridge barrel then as much carbon fiber as possible.

You mean like this? :p
To drop weight I'd swap out the Trijicon for my Aimpoint micro. This set-up is for load development and yotes, not so much for light weight.
The UBR isn't exactly the lightest stock either but I've got others to swap in if I want to drop weight.
I've also got a DMR profile Odin 6.5G barrel and BCG for it, I need to find another upper though, swapping barrels back and forth will get old fast.

I actually wanted to also just swap out between my trijicon 1-8 when hunting and T2 when training, But a heavier optic makes the rifle better balanced. So i sold my MRO and put the T2 on the wifes X95 since im a nice guy !
