ATRS Modern Sporter - Nov 30th : New video, Post 482

Good plan.
Are you going to do the 200 in SS and then start the FA?
Or half and half?
I got about 3 Reno jobs on da go and am busier than a dog with two cocks:)
And all’s on my mind is if I should get the SS or wait for the FA .. haha

We will be running as many SS uppers as we have material for which should be around 200. We will need to order dimension-ally larger material to do the FA uppers.

Only 2 lowers left available as of today 1500 hours.

All gone as of 0900 today.
Red Deer Shooting Center has a few available for sale so folks will need to contact them.
We will be tied up for the next several months finishing lowers and then making uppers. We will still be taking orders but lowers will NOT be back in production until April or May 2019.

We will be reaching out to everyone who has a lower ordered shortly to find out which upper they want as well as how many. At this point we are just trying to get the lowers finished and anoed.
Thanks,
Well it looks like I’ll be getting a SS andan FA.
There’s no way I’m going to be able to wait til Apr/May for FA ,when there’s already a SS available:)

For you more knowledgeable gents, how much work would it take to make a 7.62x39 upper? Is it easy as finding a compatible barrel/BCG or something more in depth?

Yah I’ll say you must be on the inside . For us common folk the serials started at 11

My group order was 10-14. Lol
I'm not associated with ATRS in any way, i just harassed them lots before it was even on the table. And just happened to be in store the morning they decided to sell them.
The crew at ATRS have always treated me very well, and I can't say enough about the quality that leaves their doors.

For those of you that reload, if you haven't had your hands on their reloading press, you're missing out!!
