November 30th Update, some video of the manufacture of the uppers. This is the second half of operation number two, of three.
So only one more step then off to hand finishing and anodizing?

Well almost. Tolerance QC, then hand finishing, then bead blasting, then final QC, then anodizing.
I better start ordering parts. New years day coyote hunt looks like it's going to happen

Wait, what, you mean to tell me these go together without the use of a dremel, drill or hand grinder??....

We pondered on doing a special run for the diehard DIY gang. Slightly out of spec, requiring a bunch of fitting and toolmark removal and then anodizing or CeraKoting or rattle canning as desired, but it really would not have amounted to any cost savings so we opted to keep on keeping on

How big of a batch can be anodized in one go? Would it be too optomistic to figure on picking up my upper between Christmas and New Years? Serial is below 100 on my lower.
Mine went together well too. I do wish I had a roll pin starter punch and will likely fix that minor issue soon (my issue, not the lower).
Just waiting on the upper and JP spring, and recently splurged on a BLK LBL rail/bipod.
Also need to sell all the unused parts I purchased. Maybe easier to buy another upper...

My lower showed up today... a piece of art compared to the other NR I bought for the same price.
