So where is this going?
They ATRS guys have been UBBER TRANSPARENT as to when sets will ship. They ran into some minor delays and came clean about it, now they are catching up like mad. Run 3 is shipping out daily from what I understand. Most if not all of the SS sets have shipped. Guys who had to have F/A upper are now receiving their orders as they are available. I know Rick has been back and forth to the anodizer almost every week with more parts to be anodized.
Good things come to those who wait my mother always used to tell me.

We have shipped or contacted everyone who had orders placed up until the end of October 2019. Only some complete rifle builds are still being worked on. Hopefully we will be able to clear off November and December in the next couple of weeks.

Hey by the way, quick question. The newer sets (At least on the SS), has quite a better finishing in terms of wear resistance, did you change something with the anodizing, or is it sand blasted slightly more roughly so it anodizes better?

Either way, I'm loving the new finishes on these.

A combination of slight changes in pre ano prep work.
We constantly strive to improve our products. Glad you are happy with it and thanks for noticing.
 
I'm a bit confused (probably just me), not sure if ATRS can clarify...

When I ordered (in May 2020), I was told that only FA was being made in order to streamline production, even though I asked if SS would be faster. Has that changed?

No, We discontinued the slick side receivers as of January 15th 2020, HOWEVER, as opposed to cancelling orders that were placed prior to that date, we still kept our commitments to customers who had ordered before then and fulfilled their orders.

Now that we have cleared those orders out (and yes, all slick sides that were just receiver sets, have in fact shipped out) we have now got to the point for simplifying production that we were aiming to achieve.

And we have notified and shipped virtually all of November (excluding full builds). Just December and January to go, and we're pecking through those on a daily basis.
