Atrs!

They are already going to be in court with atrs sooner than later on the matter.

In the past when the rcmp has suspected a firearms business of something, they were raided, licensed revoked and basically buried in paperwork and trial delays until the owner ran out of money and will to fight.

Kind of like how the government is saying 8 years to find the documents they relied on to draft the oic for trial. That kind of delay has huge cost implications for those seeking judgement.

This is an unusual tactic is all I am saying.

I think the lack of action on the part of the RCMP is likely due to the fact that what they have deemed prohibited as a variant of an AR in June was previously deemed not to be a variant of an AR by the lab. The problem for the rcmp here is that the decision to deem the sporter a variant was not based on lab findings, it was based on a bureaucratic decision. So when you go to court over it, and argue that the rcmp have deemed it both a variant and not a variant, the crown is likely to end up with egg on face over it. At least, one would hope.

Which is surprising in itself that the rcmp do not have a duty to act on their firearm labs opinion.

What is going to be their reason in court for continuing to allow production and sale by a Canadian company of what they have determined is a prohibited firearm? Their inaction greatly reduces their labs credibility to decide firearms legalities before the courts if the queens horsemen will not act on their own labs findings.

The content and timing of your comment here is interesting. ATRS has claimed that it was someone on this forum who allegedly filed a complaint. Would you be said person who complained to the RCMP?

If utter quality is what u want and you are willing to pay the premium for it then sure. But for every Mercedes there is 6 Corvettes on the street that sell for less and still perform on par if not better. The BCL coyote and Stag models are the Corvettes in this case :p

ATRS are the Corvettes and BCL are the Ford taurus's.

Hmm, I own an AMG Mercedes C63 and a 2006 Corvette Z51 and frankly the Vette is a slug compared to the C63.

You are a couple months late, in the letter from the Alberta CFO to atrs, the issue was brought to their attention when a customer of atrs asked for a refund on their order because they were not comfortable with the new prohibited status of the firearm. It seems the customer was denied a refund which only escalated the situation.

I am sure ATRS knows exactly who is responsible given this information, so you could ask them. No it was not me.

The Alberta CFO taking issue with atrs is not the RCMP enforcing the rcmp labs opinion on atrs as stated in my post, you obviously know that but decided to do some finger pointing anyways for absolutely no reason.
