After 20+ years of shooting and hunting with rifles, i've finally been bitten by the handgun bug. Looking at upgrading my pal, but being on afternoon shift, it's a bit of a slow go as most of the courses are in the evening.
Is there anyone in the valley who would be willing to help a "newbie" learn a little about handguns, and possibly try a couple out at the range one week-end? i don't know of anyone local who sells handgun ammo, but have no problem reimbursing you for anything i use. thanks

I'm always up for a range session. I've got a S&W 686, Sig P220, and a S&W M&P 40 (currently in the shop) you could try out.
