none of this is in the Firearms act that I can find so perhaps it is Club driven. What does the CSSA have to say about this, they are Ontario based.
The club only can help us to apply the ATT after we finished 6 probationary shooting. So I can't carry my pistol to my club to do that.
But club doesn't offer any pistol in range and range office doesn't carry any firearm to the range. The only way we can do it just borrow a pistol from members that come to the range.
That's the confused part.
I will always carry a whatever .22 lr pistol with me in the future to see anyone need to borrow.

This Club is f**ked or you are confused. How are they to know that you shot if it's not a coordinated probationary shoot? They're the administrators of the ATT's not the individual member .. well at least that's how my club does it and it works quite well. I don't understand this 'help' you get an ATT after the Shoots.

One more question, how much is the average yearly dues to join a club in southern Ontario?
I will say it again what does the CSSA say about this, surely they know about it?
Anything between $200 and $400 per year.
$300 is about average.

In NS you cannot shoot on crown land unless hunting. They do have DNR free and unsupervised ranges throughout the province but still a stupid rule.
Not that I know, Qc is like that I think.
The Ontario Club I belong to is quite progressive(can I use that word here?) in their policies and generally do think of you as a responsible adult.
There is a 1yr probationary period during which a new member must perform 12 shoots. Both of these components must be met to become a full member. However, the club will get you an ATT right away.
