ATT wait time is in Ontario

Its been taking around a month for the past 2 years as far as I have noticed. Sometimes you get lucky though... 3-5 weeks.

Did a transfer to Sask a few wks ago... wait time was 24 hours.

ATT wait time? Me thinks you are confused.

ATTs are issued immediately and automatically the second the transfer is approved, and if you already own one restricted then you should already have a valid ATT for the new purchase.

Do you mean wait times for the transfer being approved?

I recently sold a restricted to an Ontario buyer. Started transfer on Oct 29 and it was approved Nov 16. Other guns sold recently to BC, Quebec and Alberta went through in less than 2 days.

I recently bought a gun off EE. The seller was in Alberta and I'm in Ontario. Transfer was started Nov 20th, approved Nov 29th. I called every few days to check the status and got them to email it to me. Not sure if that helps but beats waiting for the paper transfer in the mail like a chump ;)

ATT? or Transfer Time? Last ATT took 10mins over the phone. My Last Transfer for a Pistol purchase in Ontario took 10 business days .

What are the requirements for att, I belong to a club but never bothered with restricted shoots.

Something I would like to get into with winter now here.
Is it attached to license once requested as my understanding is it was not automatic with RPAL .

What is the time turn around for the attachment/request.

I'm in Ontario. I received the 'transport' paper work' with my 'updated RPAL' about 3 weeks after I bought my first restricted. Longest wait was for the 'registration certificates' at 4 weeks.

The last number on your RPAL indexes by 1, and the wording will change, and transport is added to the front to say "Standard and transport conditions are attached to this licence".
The 6 basic transport conditions, are listed on the sheet your new RPAL comes stuck to.

I received my latest 'restricted handgun transfer' in 6 business days (Nov. 22nd to Nov. 30th), was a 'new' handgun from a business. Couple days after you buy, call RCMP & ask them to email you notification of transfer approval.

Good info

I assume it covers only the requested firearms and not a blanket coverage. Problems I see are where some firearms might be owned as collection vs the ones for target shooting.

12x are queens less 12.6 so no question there

Purchased an FN 509 Tactical over Black Friday weekend from Tenda. Hadn't heard much. Called Ontario CFO. Was told it would be two more weeks. Two days later I got the shipping notification...

One week and one day; bought from a fellow Ontario resident; we both got our paperwork by email yesterday.

I bought a np22 from Tenda on Dec 3, still waiting on transfers when I called today, but it's weird I bought a M&P from Al Flahertys on Dec 6 and I got the call yesterday it came through and ready for pick up. Is it always random? Shouldn't the approvals go in order?
