ATT wait times

Is anyone else waiting an unseemly long time for their Authorization To Transport (ATT)? How long have you waited and what should be expected?

I'm in Ontario, first restricted purchase, and not a member of a gun club yet.

The wait times have been long. Probably getting longer now with COVID19

How long did it take for your to get your RPAL after you completed your course?

Why are you in need of a separate LTATT? It's already included in your license.

I cant really remember, must have been a couple months. I got it about 6 years ago, just never purchased a restricted firearm.

Not too sure what you mean. My understanding is that even though you have your RPAL, you still require an ATT to bring the gun home - plus the handgun serial still has to be registered with the CFO.
I'm not part of a gun club yet so I don't have a LTATT to transport the firearm to and from the range.

Yes, when you purchase your first restricted, they will issue a new rpal with conditions that will include your ATT. In the meantime, you will get an ATT to bring the gun home
