So I belong to my local gun range in Alberta and we are going back to Saskatchewan to visit family. I am going to the gun range in Saskatchewan (I don't belong to it). Silly question, please don't flame. I'm assuming that is a no no to my restricted pistols.

I read somewhere that you can get the ATT to all provinces. I haven't looked at my att lately; I highly doubt mine says that. Probably only good for my local gun range in Alberta...correct?

Thanks for your help...

A few minutes call to your CFO will give you the right answer plus a STATT (as required). Stay legal. LEOs wants us to commit one silly mistake, and all of what we've started will just go down the drain.

Not a problem at all. If you can provide a letter of invitation to the range you plan on visiting, the CFO will issue u a STATT valid only for the range(s) requested.
The days of having multiprovince validity are gone sadly but if u have a membership to a range outside of Alberta they will add it on to your LTATT making it legal
to transport throughout Alberta and to/from your other range(s). As mentioned above, get an answer from the CFO. Be prepared, pour yourself a coffee and grab a sandwich as you are usually on hold for at least 20min.

I just talked to the Alberta CFO office a couple of days ago about going to another province with my restricteds. They will gladly issue you a temp ATT for the dates you are traveling but you need the address of the range you will be shooting at and where you will be staying while you are there so the guns are securely stored.
