i probably sound like a newb right now but i just recently got my rpal and had called to get my att, i left a message and then someone called me back and said that my application was already filled out and that all he needed was for me to fax him a copy of my range membership. as luck would have it i was accually on my way to purchase one(you can imagine how excited i was), but when i got there all i got was a piece of paper that says "range application" with my name and the date on it.
should i fax this piece of paper or should i wait the 2 weeks until i get my physical membership? and if so should i call to make sure they are expecting the fax or should i just fax it without contacting them first?

THANX!!!!

Call your CFO's office again. The firearms officer will know whether or not the document that you have is the one they require.

And always follow-up your facsimile with a telephone call.

The CFO probably won't issue an ATT with a document that just says "application". You'll have to fax copy of your membership card, when you get it, showing you are now an actual member in good standing and the expiry date of your membership.

When I got my membership I simply received a copy of my application, a receipt of payment, and a temporary membership card. The guy at the gun club (and later the person at the BC CFO office, as I called to verify) told me I just needed to fax in the membership form and proof of payment. I did so, and my ATT was issued right away.
