Yesterday I talked to man in charge at my shooting club regarding getting the permit to transport the handgun to the ranges. He said that I can only apply for permit to my local range and then if I wanna go to other range I shall call CFO for Ontario, I told him, that there should be one permit for all authorized handgun ranges.
Can you please tell me how I suppose to explain to him to apply for me for all ranges and what are the regulations.

Please help

provide him (CFO) with a schedule and an invitation from the places you would like to participate. The gun club can only confirm that you are a member of their own range.

I have an att that alows me to go to any range in ON, but I know some people have atts that only allow them to go to ther club . I think it has to do with the wording stated on the application.

Basically, on the line for where, write "All approved ranges"

+1 Mine says the range I am a member of on the front & "All restricted ranges approved by the cfo-ontario" on the back

yeah must be nice..my longterm ATT is for my range only...in the old days my OLD ATT pre registry crap..was for all ranges across Canada....

not anymore!

I just picked up my new ATT today from my club, like kbvr6 mine has the name of my club on the front and states it is good for all approved ranges on the back. My old one which was a long term ATT also, was only good for my club. All new ATT's in ON expire when your PAL does now. I think things have changed for the better.

I got my first ATT in august and it is for all ranges in ontario at any time of day. I applied through my club as everyone in ontario has to do if the club will only apply for an ATT to your club it is because of them not the ontario CFO.
