Probably a question for the Marlin dealers, but I'm not getting consistent answers from some of the dealers I've spoken to. Will the1894 sbl in .44mag be available this year? You know the one with the 16.25" barrel, large loop, all stainless, laminate grey stock and a long picatinny rail for various optic mounting including a scout scope. Any news? Because I want one. Thanks!

ordered a couple back in February/11 and never did show up. With Marlin's quality as of late it might be a good thing that they're delayed. The odd Marlin has been a real lemon the past couple yrs

I would love to have a good one of these in 45.70 ....

It looks like a winner if the quality control gets ironed out....
I'd imagine these will be available up here about 6 months to a year after they are available down south.
Maybe next fall would be my guess.

I just come back from Wss in Calgary and they have couple big levers in blue for 449 dollars. I allways wanted one but dont know if they were made before or after remmy. The seral number start with MR.

A REP barrel stamp would make it a certainty, but the BL's both 1895 and 336 are late-production models that started showing-up around 2010 IIRC.

Thread is discussing the 1894 though ;) If you're sure you saw an 1894 with large-loop and short barrel at WSS in Calgary I better jump in the pick-up and go. I'm only 9 hrs away and I can make it there for opening...

Like the last post, if it was blue it wasn't the gun I'm looking for. 16.5" barrel, grey laminatestock stock and stainless with the picatinny rail and xs peep sights. They come in. 44mag and 357. You won't find one of those for much less than $900.

I didnt notice the number 94 in title, just saw the first picture showing 95GBL. I guess im little tired. Definitly i saw 95GBL in blue in WSS.
