There was a question asked about how they compare with the Ruger. The Ruger used the Ruger American action, while this rifle is a Weatherby Vangauard rifle with chassis added. It is a much stronger action (Ruger American was Rugers first entry level rifle produced). There is aprox a $600 difference between the 2.
