I was up at the cottage just now, near Algonquin park, I noticed that the patio door wasn't openning well, it was binding.
I didn't think there was much snow on the roof, I was WRONG!

The mild spell made the edges of the roof, look low, but there was a ful 2.5 feet of heavy wet snow in the middle, with layers of ice as well.
Several hours later, the patio door was fine!

Get out there and check those roofs, Toronto may have not much snow, but areas north got plenty!

It's in my garage now, I skinned it out at my cottage. Looks like a hamburg deer. It was hit pretty hard. One front quarter is a write off, two broken legs one front one rear, broken ribs, broken pelvis, broken back.
Instant death I'd say.

Hamburg is excellent. Sounds like it was hit pretty good! I wonder what the vehicle looks like???:D Way to go Bob!

Good going Bob! How much snow is around Bobcaygeon? I was thinking of heading into the camp in the next couple of weeks.

Dave.

I'm about 3/4 hr north of Bobcageon. You won't be driving down any cottage/camp lanes. Snow is well over a foot deep around the house.

There was six to eight inches or so when I drove in, but it's been snowing since.
My cottage has three times that much easy. Got about a foot more on Saturday!

Geez It's all coming at once. Time to break out the snow shoes. Thanks for the info!

Dave.
