What is the BEST left handed, heavy barrel, .223 bolt action out there for under $1000.

I'm sold on the Savage Model 10 Predator hunter, but it's IMPOSSIBLE to find one in Canada.
So i'm weighing my options.

It will be used for target shooting, Varmit / Coyote hunting. Already have a Leupold 3x9 Rifleman scope waiting for it haha. :pirate:

yeah me too, just looked couldnt find it.

back to original thread,how about/try a rem 700 sps varmint. i have one in 204 and stoopidly accurate,like 4 shots .098" accurate @ 100, also have a sav pred 20 in 22-250 its also very accurate.325 " @ 100 ,5 shots.
i shoot left as well,but most my rifles are right handed. it wasnt till a while later i guess rem and sav came out with the left versions that i bought. i dont let it bother me,,,,,but if your set on it,,,,,ill try to find one for ya as well.
 
Thanks for the input guys, but I refuse to deal with Remington anymore after they screwed me over twice. (.17HMR recall a few years back)

Im set on the .223 round as I have 2200 rounds headed my way haha.

Charlie38 - I have contacted almost every gun shop locally and no ones got it. The sales rep at Epps let me know about the .243 as well but iv already got an old pump .243 (760 gamemaster)
 
LH HB 223 under $1000? Remington or Savage. Tikka used to offer HB models, but they were/are out of your budget. If you didn't have to have HB your options increase a bunch...
 
Yaaa, apparently im very hard to please when it comes to rifles... Im either contemplating driving down to the U.S and bringing a Savage 10 Pred Hunter back with me, or possibly looking into the Savage 10 FLCP-K , anyone have any expeirience with this rifle? Found them in stock for $880
