Question from a newbie,

I own an out of the box cz75b. I have shot no more then 1200 rds through it and am very happy with it. I find that after shooting 100 rds through it at the range, the gun warms up. After the gun warms up, I find that the slide will engage and chamber a bullet from the locked position without me releasing the slide lock. This happens after I eject the empty mag. and firmly add the full mag. My buddy metioned that I should take the CZ into the shop. Funny thing is, my buddy's Sigma 40 does the same, my dad's cz75 (one serial # off of mine) does the same. Is there a problem with my slide or lock??? Isn't this normal to be able to pop the mag in and the slide engages?? Let me know.

I don't own one of these rifles but it may be normal for a full magazine to trip the hold open. There are a lot of firearms that are designed to do this. Try it with an empty magazine and see what happens.

the gun in question is a pistol:D

This happens to allot of pistols... the force of the mag incertions jars it enough for the slide relese to drop and the slide is relesed... But I find it weird that it happens after the gun is warmed up? Maby lube gets into the catch area after its warmed up?
