ATTN: Brownells retro BCG owners

Recently I posted one of these bolts for sale without knowing people are having issues with them. I received several messages regarding these. Everything from it won’t fit, won’t cycle, feed or trip the dust cover.

How does trimming that tab make it so it opens the dust cover?

Causes the bolt to ride higher in the action allowing it to actually touch the dust cover. Alternatively a guy could replace the gas key.

I have the same BCG and it doesnt open the dustcover either. I have a genuine Radian CH.

I have the same BCG with the Stag charging handle and it works fine. Dust cover opens, rounds cycle and headspace was fine.

Just looking at your video. It looks like your bolt isnt travelling all the way to the rear and the bolt catch is hitting the carrier and not your bolt.
