Attn; Chilliwack and area BCRA Tactical rifle shooters

I have a problem...........
Who has a pick-up truck and 3 hours spare time?
The roofs arrived in Chilliwack and got dumped off at the loading dock and didn't make it to the range. I need someone to go and pick them up and take them to the range, it will take two trips........

Any takers who can help me out??

just talked to PHM and I'll be borrowing the 'rents truck Friday to go do this move. Who can help me with this? It's going to take two trips to move this stuff and I'll need someone to help me load and unload. It'll be this Friday June 15th (my birthday just so you know) early afternoon like 1pm or so. I work at 7pm that night so I can't do it any later than that. PM me or email me (rob@activeshooter) if you can help out. If you have a pickup, we can do this in one trip instead of two and cut down on the driving time.

give me a buzz on Thursday Longshot, as I have zero idea where we have to go to get these. Although Mike is going to give me directions any other help loading them up would be great.

if we load up at 1-1:30 on Friday afternoon you should have plenty of time to get back to Abby by 3:30pm

PM's sent to all who volunteered, see you there tomorrow at 1:30pm. I'll call tomorrow with directions (Just got home and can't call them now).

roofs are up at Volkes, met Marlon the caretaker up there and thanked him for the work he does keeping the range so nice. The roofs look good, us fatbodies won't have any trouble using them at all!
we are looking for extra targets though, if anyone has a source for Figure 12c's, 11's etc please let us know. If possible we'd like to keep all the targets everyone shoots and not have to patch in between relays.

What sort of #'s are you looking for?
I'll check w/ some local print shops the corporate 'we' deal with, if I can track down a PDF of the #11/12's- google ain't my friend today.
Paper, spray adhesive, and coreplast, are your friend...

Marlon wouldnt give you any?

Maybe you should go to the powers that be and get targets included in the agreement you have with the ASU to use the range.

Either that or find a friend in the printing industry because those targets are damn near impossible to order and I know that Marlon Guards his supply pretty close. (Marlon Labe?)

There are a couple CGNers in the printing industry. 1 I remember talkting to a while back has a shop in Vancouver.

Also, the civy owned range I shot service rifle at in Edmonton used rolls of tar paper cut to the right shape for figure 12s. The scoring rings were stenciled on in white.

found these very nice to shoot and all you need to patch is a roll of masking tape and a jiffy marker.

I dont know if the DCRA rules allow for this or not as our competitions were pretty informal. But its cheap!
