Attn dealers. Schultz&Larsen

I like to get my hands on the Legacy, a .222 and 6x45 combo would be great,
Reloader's supplies in New Zealand, had a 3 or 4 for sale, at about the same price as a sako 85. All sold now, Wish I had gone and had a look, mind you half a day drive.
I see they have a Classic, in DL in 6.5x55 for $2900,
Its nice to see Schultz & Larson making rifle's again, they just need sum penetration in to North America.

Those do look very nice. The classic is available in left handed as well which is nice. You can switch between barrels and even magnum and standard chambered by switching the bolt heads. If these are in the Sake price range I could see them selling pretty well.

I will take a Classic DL in lefthanded 300 Win Mag with an extra 358 Norma Mag barrel please :)

I read through pretty carefully and couldn't see any description of the action apart from the 3-position safety and a 60 degree bolt lift. Not much of a brochure.

I was reading an article a few years back that the locking lugs where on both the front and back of the bolt. The older version have locking lugs on the rear of the bolt, as you would already know. It would interest me to know what these newer rifles have.

They sell for 2000-1800 gbp. So one would cost about 3500 cdn plus importation. I contacted a uk gun shop. It sounded pretty easy to import one with the help of irun guns or prophet river. But I found a m65 and was satisfied.

It is on my bucket list, may be a while before a dealer in Canada pick up the line. I believe you can get the .22 Rimfires here somewhere.

The MSRP for the Classic DL is £1250

Quality rifles. Very well made. I went over and spent some time in their plant. Looked at all manufacturing steps. We have started making carbon stocks for their tactical range which in combination with their lightweight tactical action and cut rifle barrel makes a fine lightweight precision rifle.

Does the GBP price include VAT? If so that would not apply to exported items.
