Ever since Ive posted shots of the adjustable ATI Ive modded to fit my MP-A, owners have inquired about if I can provided them with a kit to convert the ATI stock.

ATI is putting out a TI stock just for the HATSAN MP-A in 2 months !

BUT if u dont like that style -

My question is: if I get enough pre-orders for the kit I can put a small number together and have it available for purchase.

This kit will consist of the ATI adj. stock ( if u r too lazy to get it urself- HINT: Im hoping you get this part urself.) and the additional zip lock bag with the hardware and modded insert made from delrin to adapt the MP-A to an adjustable stock.

As far a cost: It would be the ATI stock (apprx. $100) and the conversion kit for the ATI. - CO$T to be determined on the demand.

ALSO: I like oversized knobs.... Yes I do. Do you ? Again I am curious since there is nothing available for the MP-A, Im going to machine my own. It will look very similar to the one that the M4 has on the photo below.

The knob is knurled btw.

If there is enough interest, I can make say a dozen or so....$25-$30 max.

PS - Just a warning its a PITA to remove the original knob. But once u got it out - its all good.

Please indicate if any of you are interested in either items to be custom made.

Where did you get the +2 extension for the hatsan?

Bell Distributor carries them.

As an alternative you can use a TacStar 7 Round Extension Tube made to fit the Benelli Nova/SuperNova. The threads are the same and once you screw it all the way down, there is only one thread exposed which I covered with a number 18 O-ring. This O-ring not only covers the remaining thread but allows the extension to screw on tightly and wont loosen up during shooting. Snug the O-ring down over the threads on the gun before screwing on the extension. You can also use the original spring that came with the gun or the one supplied by TacStar. I would think that any after-market mag extension tube made to fit the Benelli Nova would also work on the Escort, but I know the TacStar works fine. Don forget to pick up a 10 pack of O-rings at Home Depot. Although there are similarities between the Escort and the Remingtom 870, the Remington Extension Tubes don't work on the Escort because the cap is too short to cover the cap threads on the gun.

The nice thing about this Tac Star is that its alu vs. plastic. The one that I have on my MP-A is one from a Hatsan pump and its plastic. I like the look of alu better myself but thats me.

How did you pin it? We would have to pin the +2 since we can only have 5 rounds of 12g in our gun.

Also where diid you pick up your tacstar +2 ?

So the MP-A doesn't have the recoil spring assembly in a tube attached to the receiver like the M4? I noticed on their site that the adjustable stocked pumps have the option of removing the buttstock but the MP-As don't. I take it your adaptor will allow any 870 stock to fit or is it just for the ATI for some reason? Oh an while we're at it: Leave my god damned tax return alone! I'm trying not to buy one FFS :D On the other hand I support your venture

Intriguing. So does the +1 turn it into a 5+1 and the +2 turn it into a 5+1 that just needs a permanent plug?

I think these will work on some of the Hatsan pumps as well so the plus 2 would be good to go as is for the pumps and if you want to use it on a semi then it would need to be pinned or blocked somehow to not allow 6 3 " shells.

Once blocked to 5.9 3 inch shells the mag tube should be legal for the MPA semi auto and I believe you can run how ever many 2 3/4 inch shells as will fit?

Badboy, have you got any pictures of the extenders mounted on a MPA?
