That's the one.....

I seen one at the Vancouver Airport, but in grizzlie fashion.
I almost bought it to compliment yours for you know whozzzzzz..:evil:

Tub trailers are the way to go.
I made a heavy duty one years ago and sold the thing.
Now I'm kicking myself in the rear.

a 350 honda is better then pulling it by hand but there are better. I bought a used 700 Yamaha Grizzly used it this hunting season and loved the machine. Love the power steering and Yamahas 4x4 system.

:eek:Surely you don't speak of a jolly, I mean fat guy in pink drag and his 'pet rock' that, from a couple of PMs recently, I understand use, I mean abuse eachother and 'use' the symbol!!

A tub trailer or a flat deck trailer is a lot easier on the machine. I use a 300 suzuki 4x4 lots in the past with a foldable flat deck tailer. It was nice since I could get the trailer and quad in a 8ft truck box and close the tail gate easily with room to spare. Use to put a moose/elk on the side also.
Still say a argo is king for hauling out animals.

:DThey are an impressive machine. However, many of the toys I have don't get enough use. Also, for the most part being retired and having:redface: spent a good deal of my mad money on a 'few' handguns this past year, that well is just about dry.

Looking at buying a new to me used honda 350 quad.

Anyone have experience dragging out deer or even elk with a 350? I know I could 1/4 it and strap it down but curious how well they do dragging em out ?

What do you use?

I've dragged out a bull moose up in Peace River, Alta with my buddy's 350 Honda quad and there was no problem (Just put it in Low gear and 4X4 and you will be fine!!)

Thx eh, good to know.

I like how i just asked for deer and elk and you guys were like " we pull moose with our 350's !!" lol. Perfect! I like this quad and its a good price. im a get it.

Antlered game ( moose-elk-deer) pull alot easier from the rear (hind) legs rather then the head as the antlers always dig in and sometimes ruin the mount-- just a thought of wisdom and experience.. I have a honda 350 ES and a can am 500- the 500 I use while just out for a summer fun run but when it comes to hunting I like my 350 ES as it is smaller for those tight bush trails and when you get stuck you can pull /lift the front and rear out. Th bigger quads I/ve seen guys burn winchs out trying to pull out of being stuck- had to resue a few with my argo when they sink really bad, but thats here in northern BC where the muskeg and clay is our playground LOL

There is no replacement for a GOOD trailer - and remember that not all trailers are created equal. I have flattened bad trailers with large moose and I have hauled very large moose with small, but well built trailers. Just about any sized quad will pull a moose if it has the low range gearing available. Traction is everything too.
