Auction find 570 id smoothbore help please

Flintlock auction purchase that is a .570 smoothbore. New to flinty and loving it. Should have researched this first. I used cerrosafe in the barrel today and it is .570 and is a 10” smoothbore; no rifling. No maker marks, stainless barrel. What can i use for projectiles? Looking for suggestions.
 
Appreciate the input. I have some 54 cal .530 and some 20 but might be a little loose. I also have some hummason canvas from the lead bags i turned into a .30 patch. Looking for larger round ball or mold. I had wondered about turning it into a shotgun so i appreciate you are thinking the same. I will check what i have laying around. I know i have some wasp paper…not sure about that size fibre wads.

You acquire this prior to or after the handgun ban? Is this an antique with stainless 10" barrel?

Not that it matters, but it is far more likely that it is polished steel rather than stainless. How well does the lock spark?
 
.570 seems a strange bore for a modern handgun; are you sure it is .570 and not .580 ? .570 molds are available and if you use pure lead they should cast a little smaller

I agree about the non-standard sizing being strange and that is one reason why I am reaching out. Perhaps someone has seen this before (or even sold it at auction). I am going to see about taking the barrel off the wood and see if there are any underside proof markings. The only marking is see is the 4 digit serial number. I cast the muzzle with cerrosafe and it is definitely .570
 
It looks like one of the Japanese made repros. Can you post a photo of the lock side?
How does it spark?

Took the barrel and lock off. No additional markings. Three digit serial and crown GR on the lock. Flash hole is drilled and does enter the bottom of the barrel.

one thing you need to do is to drop a ramrod down the barrel and confirm where the breachplug ends. I have a suspicion that the breach plug is only minimally threaded into the barrel. Combined with the touch hole in the bottom of the barrel, I would be extremely hesitant to shoot it It looks to me as if it is a decorator gun

It is more of a decorator than a functional firearm. Don't want to be negative, but what you have there is of very indifferent quality.
