I make a point to get out in sheep country every fall, this year I went out with a friend for five days, August 7th to 11th. On the 4th day my friend connected with a nice 10 year old ram. Maybe I'll get out again in September! Here is a little photo essay ....

Thank you for posting your adventures. Very good pictures. In 2006 I spent 3 weeks on the Snake and Peel Rivers we did some hiking and seen many Dall sheep, and caribou. Always wanted to return to hunt sheep, unfortunately my health took a sharp turn south and it is no longer possible. Please go again next year as you never know when your health will fail you.

Great photos and beautiful country. We travelled through the Yukon a couple years ago and I can't wait to get back and have another look.

I love the idea of a sheep hunt, love the mountains and sheep and goats but I occasionally battle a fear of heights and know freezing up on a mountain side may put myself and others in danger.

Also I love the pictures and hope someday I can get past my fear and go for a sheep hunt.

Sounds and looks like a great trip with a canceled tag and stories to tell.
That valley picture with depth of field is amazing...almost getting vertigo staring down ...
Thank You for sharing and congrats to you and your buddy.
Rob
