August purchase

P.S. What are people using to store and load their photos? Photobucket is such a PITA - I'm trying to resize my pics and its soooooo slow that it makes me want to slit my wrists with my No. 7 bayonet

I re-size in photoshop, using the "Save for web" option that really helps take the file size down. I then upload my re-sized photos to photobucket and simply post the link.

I think I got a pretty good deal on this 1958 FEG Tokagypt. Anyone have any idea on what its worth? It came with two mags, and one matches the gun. It has a mint barrel and is otherwise in excellent condition.

(I got it for $125 by the way)

Well I was referring to the truck (anyone hiding a Kubelwagen or half track in their garage ?) but yes, those Radom pistols aren't hiding in everyone's closet :D.

Thanks! The K98k I picked up off of the EE and the Radom I purchased off a member of my local club.

Are you going to post it in the Milsurps forum? Love to hear a detailed post - RC or not, matching, stamps and marks, what condition, etc.

How much did you pay for it?

Thats cool. If you have questions, Stencollector knows about these.

Not a rifle, but still in the spirit of milsurp. Picked this fellow up at an antique shop here in Japan. My Japanese sucks, but the shopkeeper was able to confirm that he's wartime. Seems to be made of terracotta.

If anyone's got info about these things, I'd love it hear it! I've had trouble finding anything online. Guess there's not a big market for WW2 Japanese clay dolls. Next week, I got back and pick out a nice helmet!
