It's been a long dry spell for me but its been broken with these:

Trapdoor is pretty. The sub-guns just make me wish that I lived in a free and democratic country where I could own something like that.

that's very interesting a 115 year old unissued Trapdoor...
where did they hide it ?
are there more of them ?
and how much $ ?

I got this one from Al Frasca at Trapdoorcollector.com. I think that he has found a crate of them, he has had three unissued recently, all M84's. If you go to the website, you can see mine (listed 6/07/09, ser. 475723) and the other two, listed 7/21/09. I suspect that he will have a few more up in the comming months. Getting it accross the border was not an issue, it showed up at my door about 10 days after he mailed it, along with a bill from customs for GST and PST.

And then there were three:

This came in on the same shipment as the PPS-43 and Thompson but there was a mix-up so took a little longer to get into my hands. Been nearly two years getting this baby

I'll post up better pictures later.

1941 Portuguese K98 (big pic warning)

Found the second one (bottom) pictured, just 20 minutes from home last week. Did the "happy dance" all the way home. Stock has never been oiled yet! Both have matching bayonets. "Keepers" I think.
Cheers

Well to be totally honest, my main focus is on Ross' these days. Mauser's a close second. Still love my Enfields mind you.
Cheers
