This looks interesting. What target is used for the 100 yd. rimfire? I've got 3 of the 100 yd. CGN smallbore targets I downloaded from CGN and shot yesterday. I'm wondering if these are the correct ones for the 100 yd. unlimited? Never mind, I found it.
- SoBored
- 100yard unlimited
- Savage Mark IIBV w/Tasco 6x24 @ 24 using Winchester T22 target (sucks)
- 291 with 10x
- 24 degrees C, high humidity, little to no wind.
This was using the old 100 yard unlimited targets. I just printed out a bunch a week ago now the target has changed.
New targets - this was sort of a project, something new to try. We are way off track here with our matches being so isolated from the real world of cometitive shooting. If our targets were in line with CSA shooting programs we could probably integrate somehow and be eligible for badges or other recognition awards. Not that we really ned them...
I'm confused. Which target is the current 100yard unlimited. The one that is black on three letter sized sheets or the white ones that are three targets on one letter size?
If it's the three black pages my score is fine because that's what I shot on.
It's the 3 targets on one sheet. I found out after using the 3 separate sheet targets ( my score on those ones was 297/11X) The newer target is tougher.
I got a chance to go to the range this morning and play at 100 yards. I have never been a BR shooter so this is all new to me. I think shooting at 100 yds. is going to become addictive. Here is todays best result.
CZ 452 Varmint .22 cal./Leupold VX II 6-18X40 AO set at 18X.
Caldwell Rock BR front rest and a rear bag.
SK Standard Plus
Sunny with a slight west wind
Distance - 100 yards
Score 293/10X

that's good shooting. Your lower left bull would probably score a 97-3x. The shot at 12o/c looks to be right on the line.
I saw your wanted in the RF EE. With shooting like that you don't need a 40X,37 or a 52. They are nice to work with though! Regards - D.
