August simcoe match August 24th

come try this event out, friendly atmosphere, no pressure. Everyone is willing to share their knowledge with anyone who asks. I started shooting 22 with Scuba and Swish and they helped me right from the get go. from setup, to technique, helping call shots and to adjust point of aim if required. think of this as a demo day. come out and try your hand at shooting steel from various ranges, 50-300+ yards. try out other guns, ammo and setups. hope to see you guys out there!

Only 8 more sleeps haha! Have some prizes for ur shoot and may be joined by one other shooter who has a lefty Vudoo. I will bring some steel with me as well if you want.

I love the idea of this and can’t wait to hear how it goes,
Good luck to all that attend. No better way to see what works for you and what doesn’t than to try it. Try each others gear, guns, techniques....
Thanks for coming up with this great concept
I may have to follow Your lead and do one of these practice days myself!

I figured take the stress out of it and maybe the people who are on the fence will try it out, by this time of year guys are tired of being stressed and just want to have some fun

big shout out to steve for putting on another great day, it was warm and the wind was fairly calm. thanks to Ellwood Epps for coming out and providing some swag. Looked like everyone had fun and learned lots. variety of obstacles to shoot from made for a good challenge. not to mention a 425 yard gong that looked pretty marked up by the end of the day. Thanks to everyone who came out, hope to see you guys at the next one!

Thank you very much Steve for organizing this. Had a great time with my son and the targets were great challenges.
Thanks to Epps as well. Great guys.
Great venue and lovely weather.

Another terrific event!!!! Who would have thought FOUR HUNDRED YARDS was possible with a .22?????

Many many thanks to Steve for putting this together as well as the landowners for hosting - a class act all around!!!!! Also it was great to see Ellwood Epps there supporting the shooting community!!!

I hope everyone had a great time, that’s all that matters to me. I am more competitive with myself than the guy next to me so an official match has never mattered to me. This format takes that away and should make the new shooters come out and enjoy what we have been all summer, hope it catches on

The 400 was crazy, longstud with that vudoo was almost to easy for him and incredible to watch, I was really impressed

I have to say, watching some of the better prs guys shoot was really cool, it never has been my bag but they really put on a good show.

Thanks scuba52, and please extend thanks to the landowner.

Thanks for the labradar setup (84wankel?). FWIW, Federal Gold Medal Target chronied at 1109fps out of my 20” CZ457 MTR.

I did a little practice from the ramp, ladder, barricades, but spent most of my ammo at 400 (a few hit the target, LoL). Funny thing, it made 300 yards feel easy, LoL.

ah lab radar was Adams, not sure what his name is here on the forums
