Aussie no. 4 brand new!!!

I believe the recievers are made in Vietnam. It's really not a No4, just resembles one. (note it says "designed by" not "made by"
Teak furniture should be the giveaway.

Teak is their Fir wood down under.

I used to take home the old Pallets that came in from Australia to reuse in various wood projects that required teak. :D

Yeah, the same company makes a jungle carbine knockoff in 7.62x39.
Tristar out of the States use to carry them, but i don't see them on the new web site.

Here's an archived page....

In Australia, mag capacity laws are nonexistant. That means you can slap a 30 rounder AK mag into your M10, or a 20 round mag into the 308 No.4! I seem to recall reading somewhere that the 75 round AK drums dont fit without stock butchery, though. too bad.Lucky Aussies! Of course, we still get to play with semi auto's and they don't...

Damn nice looking rifles, though and who cares if they're made in Nam. What isnt these days? I'd buy one if I could justify a grand for a new production enfield. Some day! If I win the 6/49, I promise to buy all milsurp regulars one of these!

I've handled a "M10-A2" and a "No4Mk4" - they're ok.

They would likely retail in the Cdn $700-800 range, and I would much rather have a "real" Lee Enfield, or a Rem 700 or something else in 308 for the same or less money.

At that price point I can't see anyone selling enough to turn a profit. If they were in the $400-500 range perhaps.

I wonder what they would charge for new No.4 wood sets...Selling those as a stand alone product would get 'em lots of business if the price was right...

I'd be a little bit concerned about the metallurgy and hardening. Kind of like the Chinese M14's...
