I am looking to put a Flinter into my BP arsenal, any experience with A&H mountain rifles? I checked out thier website and they are a real purdy gun, but it is hard to see what sort of quality and wood to metal fit.

I have that rifle and am happy with it. I picked mine up for a big discount, because of less than perfect barrel brouning. i don't think the fit and finish is any better than the Lyman rifles, but the weight saving over the Lyman Great Plains is what I like. You are right, it sure is purdy.

Yah, they are in the SIR cat. Offered in both 1:66 and 1:28.
I think I'll be going for the round ball barrel, after all, its a flinter, why go too modern with sabots, when my idea of a flinter is to go back in time a bit.
