Well I finally broke down and got one. I always wanted an Enfield Enforcer and this is probably as close as I'll ever get. The rifle seemed to be of good quality and fit and finish quite nice. It came with a mount and spare mag. so I mounted a spare Leupy i had kicking around and headed to the range.

At the range out of the box my first 5 rounds with Port surplus at 50m was a ragged one hole group . However, using 168gr Fed Match it was about .25" at 50m. Well since I was on paper I moved to the 100m range.

At 100m the match ammo was terrible. I'd get a nice three shot .30" group but then my next two would be 1.5" out... in opposite directions. I'd clean her and go again. Now it'd be grouping 3" from original point of impact, so I adjust the scope and all is well. Next strig same thing. Well realized the mount and rings were loose  so next string all is well right... nope. First group was .5" the next a 2.5" group high and to the right 4". Rings and mount ok. :runaway:
Fired about four mor strings without cleaning (out of frustration) and the groups got tight again. So cleaned her and fired again... same story. Strarted to realize the rifle was shooting better when hot

Well, thought f^%k it and try and sort it out latter. Went back to the Port stuff. Well best group .5" worst 1.2" no stringers or flyers.

Conclusion: I still think the rifle is great. I must assume it does not like 168gr but perfers 147gr. So i guess I'll have to start loading 155 match.

On a side note: The rifle has a nasty recoil for a .308. Nothing I can't handle but I think a recoil pad may be in order. Ya I'm wimpy.

All depends what you want. If you are talking about taking a No.4 and converting it to an Enforcer then the M10B2 is well worth the coin. If you want an accurized No.4 build one these are two differnt animals. This rifle is not surplus it is new manufacture. Therefore, the price is resonable. Remington doesn't come with a spare mag. The rifle is accurate, I just need to find the right bullet weight. Trigger is so-so, stage one is short and aprox. 2lb stage two is around 6lb but no travel. The lock time is horrible, but thats the enfield action. My Savage 10FP McMillan only got 1.2" groups for the first 100 rounds before she broke in and began to tighten. The fact that it produces so well with the Port Ball gives me great encouragement.

Keep in mind I am being very critical in my evaluation. If I had any doubt in the performance of the rifle it would already be gone. If you want an Enforcer and don't mind a little playing around with ammo, I think it is an exellent deal.

Oh ya... I got it at Milarm, They have one B2 ($899) with a short butt left and two of the No.4's ($799).

I picked up my B2 Match at Milarm as well. It shoots very well. I have a pic of the rifle and a 100yd hunter bench rest target. Score was 47-2X. The 3 point drop was my fault, not the rifle or scope. I will gladly send the pics to someone that can post them for me. I used Lake City brass, CCI 250 primers, 48 grns W748, #1992 155 grn Palma Match. bearhunter

My M10 No4 Mk4 will shoot 3/4 inch at 100m with Rem-UMC 147gr. FMJ. I intend to shellac bed it and see if that tightens it up any. It'll also do 1 3/4 in. with FNM 7.62 Ball.

Apparently its a 1 in 12" twist. Means it should like 168gr. Now I'm confused, maybe it's a bedding issue? I guess I'll experiment more. Still not a bad deal on a rifle IMO.

Ok, took her to the range today with a leupold M3 nd now I know it was the scope. Got .50 MOA with 168gr BTHP Match. Did a trigger job on her this week as well. Now thats better. Now I'm happy :dancingbanana:

Decent Groups

Took my M10 B2 match out to the range today. I have been trying various powders and bullets over the last month. Finally got down to some 1/2" groups. Varget powder, WW cases, CCI Br#2 primers, and Sierra 155gr. Palma Match did the job. Have some pics, but I can't get them on the site for some damn reason. I'am happy with the rifle, the way it is grouping, should I glass bed it? or leave it as is?.
