Australian International Arms M10 B2 Match

That B3 rifle is that the 7.62 x 39 model that everyone states will take a AK47 mag?

Well you missed a fantastic gun and if you think mags are hard to find the gun is much more difficult.

They are a fantastic shooter and you can always find a mag.

The true gem is the B3 with the minigun barrel.

For hunting regs, and allowable numbers of rounds loaded for hunting maybe.
Legal mag capacities are in the criminal code. = Federal controll

The fedral gov. allows the provinces to set there own limits on long guns but yes 20/30 round mags are band in canada if that makes any cense.lol

You are talking about provincial hunting regs, we are talking about federal firearms laws, which are not the same thing. Modify an M14 mag and it will still be considered an M14 mag and a prohibited device.

30 round mags are not banned unless they are for a semi-auto centerfire firearm. Mags for all rimfire and manual action centerfire have no limits.

Ya true but where else are you going to be with a rifle the only place would be hunting or the range and the ranges are up and down with that also.If it is fedral why are the provinces allowed to set there own limits isn't that a double standard.
Anyway whatever blows there hair back i will stick to the mag it came with the only time you would need more is if you are in the mil.

That is what i said in my first post everyone is saying different. The M14 mag must of thrown them off.

Sounds like a rare coin that you would put on display rather then use.

You could still use them. Extremely durable, and no matter what condition, there are still only 250 out there.
Funny, on other forums a few people said they recieved a B3 instead of the B2 they ordered. Someone got roasted over that for sure!

The problem with that is the M14 mag is for a centerfire semi-auto and is subject to the 5 round limit. Modifying it to work in the AIA doesn't change the fact that it started life as an M14 mag and will be considered a prohibited device if the capacity is greater than 5 rounds.

The provincial limits are Wildlife Act limits that relate only to hunting. I can carry a pump shotgun in the bush for wildlife protection with a 7 round mag, but can only have a 3 round capacity if I am hunting with it (for both upland and waterfowl here in Alberta, some provinces don't limit mags for upland birds). There is no double standard, the provinces are only allowed to regulate mag limits in relation to hunting and they cannot be greater than the federal limits.

You are confusing hunting regulations with federal firearms legislation. Federal law applies everywhere in Canada.

Yeah, Wolverine recently got about 50 in from England. They're all gone but do show up for sale from time to time.

haahaa I have one of them in 7.62x39 from wolverine it is to bad about the ak47 mag so my 5/10 pin mag
I still haven had the time to shoot it but hope to get out soon

There was a new/unfired 7.62x39 version of the AIA at the Chilliwack show. It lasted about 25 minutes on Saturday morning.

The fellow had $1100 on it and I heard he dropped $50 off his asking price because the buyer was buying it for his wife. That's the rumor anyway. I didn't talk to the seller at all, everything on his table was nice but of course, sporters.

The rifles that Marstar and Wolverine have left are all that will ever come into Canada again.

If you can scrape up the money, do it, you won't be disappointed.

Provinces can set magazine limits for hunting but those limits cannot allow a magazine to exceed the limits for that magazine set by federal firearms regulations. E.g. firearms regulations do not limit capacity of a bolt action gun but a province can limit the capacity for hunting. Firearms regulations prohibit capacity over five if a detachable magazine is made for a centrefire semi-auto long gun. A provincial hunting regulation cannot allow that magazine to have a larger capacity.

Of the minigun barreled B3's I believe there was 150 total production with 10-15 ending up in Canada.

The 7.62x39 only had about 50 make it into Canada. There was some talk of one last small shipment coming in at some point.

I was lucky enough to add both to my collection and am seriously considering getting the full wood military model.
