I was looking on Marstar, And I'm Really interested in the improved Enfields. Does anyone have one of these? Are these decent rifles?

I've got a M10 B2... very well made but I haven't had a chance to shoot it yet.

Nice, Very nice. I was looking at the N0.4MK1V(I have a soft spot for the old style full length stock) Let me know how it shoots. Thanx

There have been several reviews on here of these rifles, try the search function. They seem to shoot very well. I have the No 4 Mk IV.

For a product to be marked "Made in Australia" over 50% of the cost of production must be incurred in Australia. The rifles that have been sold in Canada are not marked "Made in Australia". Where the parts are made, where the assembly and finishing are done is essentially irrelevant. By all reports, the rifles are well made, well finished, and shoot well.

In my opinion, this genre of rifles are modern clones of the classic Enfield milsurp rifles, so maybe this thread is in the wrong forum?

In any event, there is an extensive and positive detailed article, complete with range testing titled AIA No. 4 Mk. 4 (Review by Stevo) (click here) http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=15, which was posted in the Technical Articles for Milsurp Collectors and Re-loaders (click here) http://www.milsurps.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25 section of the MKL

There is also a separate opposing "un-review" presented titled Australian AIA Rifles (Feedback and Opinion by Steve) (click here) http://www.milsurps.com/showthread.php?t=225, also posted in the Technical Articles for Milsurp Collectors and Re-loaders (click here) http://www.milsurps.com/forumdisplay.php?f=25 section of the MKL.

Both articles give you two different points of view on this same line of new firearms products.

Please note that the author Steve is not the same author as Stevo ... two different people.

Regards,
Badger
