Australian Munitions 5.56?

Hi,

I was wondering if anyone knew if Australian Munitions ammunition was available in Canada?

I'm interested in the 5.56 62gr., I have used it in the past and find it to be good for training and reasonable price. I prefer using 62gr. in my AR's over 55gr. and find our options to be limited. Currently I mostly use PMC 62gr. M855 but it is not always available and it would be nice if there were more options. I see Tulammo has some 62gr but I don't prefer their bimetal jacket.

I've never even heard of it, let alone seen it here, unfortunately. Hopefully someone knows more.
 
I think you guys are talking about ADI ammo? (Australian Defence Industries)

I imagine it's likely in the same price range as the IWI stuff (Israel Weapon Industries) - pretty expensive.

Regardless, I'd DEFINATELY be in for a few K.

Yeah it is the ADI F1, "5.56 NATO ADI 62gr. SS109 F1 Ball Ammo". I agree, it does shoot well for issued ammo.

In the States I think it is currently around $500.00 per 1000 rounds but it use to be cheaper as far as I can remember. I believe the last time I bought PMC M855 it was around the same price or a bit more.

On a side note, have you seen the IWI stuff recently? I have not seen it for a long time.

I just wish we had more options when it comes to bulk 62gr. 5.56, especially good quality stuff.
