I just picked this up :) still has grease on the blade and sheath looks as new

Sheath is marked Mangrovite44, Left side of blade is stamped MA1907 and a #11 below it, right side has broad arrow with OA and a large X below it.

the 11 is probably either 41 or 44. MA1907 is generally accepted to mean Made in Australia, Pattern 1907. It would be a Lithgow bayonet.

the large OA and X means the bayonet was actually manufactured at Orange, a Lithgow subcontractor, and X means it passed the "bending" acceptance test.

mangrovite was a leather subcontractor from 1941 through at least 1945. Most australian WW2 leather scabbards are so marked, with 1944 being the manufacture date on your piece.

1907 Bayonet

Most of the WW2 Austrailian bayonets are parkerised or blued. The one in the first picture looks like it has some of it removed or worn down. The Mangrovite scabbards are tanned red, and are probably the most attractive of all the 1907 scabbards.
I have about 25 or 30 different bayonets that will fit the No I Mk III Enfields.
It is probably the one bayonet with the most variations.

You may also wish to check the pommel and see if it's marked to any military districts or not. Many of them are marked 1MD, 3MD, etc. or D^D. A '41 would be much more likely to be so marked than a '44.

Albayo knows his bayonets far more than I do, but personally, I'd consider the scabbards' tanning as more of a deep brown than a red. I guess color descriptions are somewhat subjective though :)

On the pommel it has a broad arrow then under that is is 888 stamped close to each other then 32 beside it
under that is 3/ 4/R (the 4 has a 0 stamped around it) ?
