Australian war memorial, very pic heavy.

Visited the Australian war memorial in Canberra a little while back, figured id put up some pics. If your ever in the area i would highly recommend taking a look. The place is huge and easily fills a whole day looking at everything. There is a bit of everything from the 19th century upwards. Being the gun nut i am i took a picture of pretty much every exhibit that was firearms related and then some. Very impressive collection from militaria to small arms and up to aircraft and even a WWII Japanese mini sub hanging from the ceiling. My battery started to die halfway so a lot of the shots i couldn't use flash.




















Some are a bit out of order, but more to come.

Is this the museum with A7V German tank?

Is it on display?On pictures it looks like mobile bunker,I wonder if that's what it really is.

Pictures always add few pounds


Very cool place.Good think there are very few museums with restaurants in them-it would be hard to just leave.

CWH in Hamilton has one and back when I was riding bike near there I always dropped in for just that and the atmosphere.
