Austrian Ritter & Stark introduces#SX-1

Why do think think a whole barrel/scope combo is a good idea? The whole many calibres with one scope is better a la AI AX, TRG M10, DTA, etc.
 
Oh I totally get that but you have to buy 3 expensive scopes.

I can re zero a lot for the cost of a couple S&B 5-25s.

Also, just track your zero shift with each barrel - that is what I will be doing when my 6.5 AI barrel arrives.
 
I really like the bipod. I wonder if they will sell that separately? But it will probably be in the $1000 range because everything with these new precision rifles tend to be astronomically expensive.
 
All the ones I mentioned previously are also designed with that in mind. The Remington PSR is the same as well and probably the largest sniper rifle contract out there.

Not saying there are not pros to it, I just see more cons that is all. I really like the safety and tbe swapping mag wells.

Just read an article from guns.com that said initial pricing for the 308 would be $5,555 and the 300/338 would be $6,555. Not completely ridiculous for what you're getting compared against an AI AXMC.

Everybody seems to be coming out with a modular bolt action rifle, I heard the other day that Cadex is developing one right now. Exciting stuff.
