Authentic SKS-D or not?

Are guys really comparing the D to a Rolex? The Soviets are far nicer.

i interpreted "fake rolex" differently. as in price, not the quality. i agree but even an unfired russian cant fetch as much as a "D".

"josh" is the guy that made the sks website with the pictures and info about the sks that we were referencing from the links posted in the thread.

I agree..... I don't think there are any Russian rifles coming close to the average price of a D model.
There are 3 or 4 D models in the EE right now , one of mine included and I won't be dropping the price either.
Minty Yugos fetch more than the nicest Russians as well. I think they sold for 750.00 retail originally and I can't see the prices of "any" sks rifles going down.
